Do I need to bring my own gear?
No, everything can be provided.
What about waders?
Rentals are available for $15.00 a day.
Can I bring a non-fisherman?
Most times, non-fishers can be accommodated.

License (TNWildLife.org) or purchase locally.

Are children welcome?
Yes, children are encouraged.
How much should I tip?
Gratuities are always welcome, but this is always your option. The suggested amount is 15% or whatever you are comfortable with.
Can I keep the fish?
When fishing in private lakes, fish may be kept. Trophy fish and all trout must be returned to fight another day.
Can we bring alcohol?
On most trips the answer is no, but there can be exceptions.
Can you help with tackle purchases?
I am happy to provide help with the tackle, flies, and lures. I work closely with many companies and shops.
Is fly fishing hard?
No; I have taught people from 6 to 85.
Can you guide more than three people?
Not personally, but I deal with a network of guides. I have handled groups as large as forty.
Can you provide corporate schools or outings?
Yes, with advanced notice.
Can you provide vegetarian or special lunches?
Yes, I am happy to.
Do you like taking novice or beginners fisherman?
Yes, I consider myself a teaching guide.
Can you help with travel/accommodations?
Yes, I am happy to help, and work with several hotels and rental companies.
Is there a season?
This is all dependent upon weather/water conditions. In Tennessee most fish can be caught year round.
